East African Countries led by Kenya and Tanzania are currently vigorously modernizing their transport systems. The modern Standard Gauge Railways in both countries is proof that there is steady economic development in East Africa.
Uganda is also about to start construction of a standard gauge railway line from the Kenyan border all the way to the borders of Rwanda and DRC.
Rwanda Air and Kenya Airways from East Africa all operate flights to the UK whereas very soon Uganda Airlines will also start direct flights to Gatwick Airport in the UK.
Travelling for business from East to West to South and to North Africa is very easy. Added to these three East African carriers is of course their bigger brother also in East Africa “ Ethiopian Airlines”, which has flights all over the continent everyday.
There are still a lot of opportunities all over East Africa for those who wish to invest in transport services. The populations in the three East African Capitals ( Nairobi Kenya, Dar Es Laam Tanzania and Kampala Uganda) are ever increasing because of high rural urban migration. Tram transport systems which are currently lacking in East Africa would tremendously help alleviate transport problems for city commuters and hence bring further economic prosperity.
Africa is open for investment.
